Straightforward answers to the questions property owners and managers ask most before working with Statewide Roofing.
If you’re evaluating a roofing contractor, trying to decide between repair and replacement, or figuring out what happens after a hail storm, you’re in the right place. Here are honest answers to the questions we hear most often.
About Statewide Roofing
Sixteen years. We’ve been doing commercial roofing work across Colorado long enough to have worked on buildings we inspected years earlier — and to have earned repeat business from property managers who’ve moved between companies and brought us with them.
Commercial roofing is our primary focus. We work on office buildings, industrial facilities, retail centers, warehouses, schools, churches, and multifamily properties. We also handle select residential projects — particularly hail-related shingle replacement and insurance work — but commercial properties are the core of what we do.
We serve commercial properties across Colorado’s Front Range and eastern plains — from Pueblo to Fort Collins and from Springfield to Julesburg. If your property falls outside that general area, contact us and we’ll let you know whether we can help.
Yes to both. We carry full commercial insurance coverage and hold manufacturer certifications on the roofing systems we install and repair. Those certifications matter because they mean we’re trained on the specific systems we work on — and they’re often required for manufacturer warranty coverage to apply to your project.
Services and Scope
We provide commercial roof repair, roof replacement, roof maintenance, roof inspections, and emergency roof repair. We also install and repair TPO, EPDM, metal roofing, roof coatings, modified bitumen, and spray foam systems, and we handle shingle roofing on residential and multifamily properties. On applicable projects we can also address gutters, flashing, and roof ventilation as part of a complete scope.
Yes. This is something we plan for deliberately, not as an afterthought. Commercial roofing almost always involves occupied buildings. We coordinate access, staging, and scheduling around your tenants and operations from the start of the project, and we communicate proactively so that property managers aren’t fielding complaints they weren’t warned about.
Yes. The right system depends on the building type, roof geometry, drainage design, budget, and how long you plan to own the property. We walk owners through the practical options and explain the tradeoffs in plain language, not roofing jargon, so you can make an informed decision rather than just taking our word for it.
Repair, Replacement, and Inspections
The honest answer is that a professional inspection is the only reliable way to know. Visible leaks and obvious damage are easy to identify, but the condition of the membrane, insulation, and substrate underneath tells a more complete story. Generally speaking, repair makes sense when damage is localized and the rest of the system is still performing. Replacement becomes the better answer when damage is widespread, the roof is approaching end of life, or repair costs are climbing toward a significant fraction of replacement cost year over year.
Most roof failures don’t happen suddenly; they develop over time through drainage issues, minor surface wear, and flashing problems that go unnoticed until water gets inside. An inspection identifies those conditions while they’re still manageable, gives you documentation of roof condition, and helps you plan maintenance or repairs before they become emergencies. For property managers overseeing multiple buildings, regular inspections are one of the most practical tools for staying ahead of capital expenses
Maintenance is a systematic review of the conditions most likely to cause problems — drainage and debris buildup, flashing condition, surface wear, penetrations, rooftop equipment, and areas showing early signs of deterioration. After each visit you’ll have documentation of what was found and what, if anything, needs attention. It’s not busywork; a well-maintained roof is easier to budget for, less likely to fail unexpectedly, and more likely to reach its full service life.
Storm Damage, Insurance, and Warranties
Yes. Post-storm response is a significant part of what we do. Colorado’s hail seasons and wind events create roofing emergencies on a regular basis. We inspect the roof, document visible damage accurately, and help you understand what the damage means for the roof’s condition and your options going forward. If your building was in the path of a recent weather event, don’t wait for water to appear inside before calling; early inspection protects both the roof and your position if an insurance claim is involved.
Yes. We inspect the roof, document visible damage, and provide a professional roofing scope based on actual conditions. We work with the process straightforwardly — we’re not a storm-chasing operation, and we don’t inflate scopes or make promises about what insurance will or won’t cover. What we can do is give you an accurate picture of the roof’s condition so you’re working from real information.
We back our work with a 5-year workmanship warranty. Depending on the roofing system, product, and scope of the project, manufacturer material warranties may also be available — and in some cases, maintaining documented maintenance records is a condition of keeping those warranties valid. We walk owners through available warranty options during the estimating process so there are no surprises later.
